Database Development
Databases allow you to manage the data that supports your day-to-day
operations. More importantly, databases can be queried to provide summary information that can enhance the quality of your decision-making.
If your current administrative processes are still
mostly paper-based then the introduction of database technology will allow you to operate more efficiently by always having current information at your fingertips. Similarly if you
are dependent on spreadsheets which are becoming unmanageably
large and cumbersome then a database could be the solution.
We help our clients find the database solution that best meets their needs. If you are in a well-recognised industry segment then there might be an existing third-party database product that is suitable for you. If so, then we can help you choose the product. install it and configure it.
Alternatively we can use Microsoft Access to build a database system that is purpose-built for your requirements. This can be built as a "turnkey" system, such that you can operate the system without any prior knowledge of the workings of Access. Or, for the more technically sophisticated, we can leave the database open allowing you to augment the database with your own queries and reports.
We can also help if you already have an existing Access database which is in need of maintenance or enhancements.
