Further to my previous post, sometimes it's helpful to be able to see the full set of HTTP headers that are being sent from a web page. This enable you to check on caching, cookies, redirects, etc. The tool I use for this is the Browse Web feature in Sam Spade. This is a free utility with various other useful features. It's stated purpose is to help you track down the source of spam. That doesn't really apply these days, since most email spam is now routed through zombie computers. Nevertheless, it remain a handy item of software.
